Hello and welcome to all!

 

This page was designed to keep us in touch with all our family and friends as we travel the globe. We have included pictures and copies of our journal entries (not the private ones!), which we will update as time permits. We want to keep you all updated and possibly  inspired to embark on your own adventures!

Where in the world are you? (You ask) We didn't even know that you were gone! Actually, we are already back in the States after a life altering five-months long journey through that other American continent, you know South America.  We will surely be embarking on future excursions to foreign lands, as this experience has whet our appetite for more.  Feel free to check the travel page to find out where we have been! 

This journey took a lot of thought and some scary realizations, like... "If we don’t do it now, will we ever?"  We noticed others who have dreamed of travel only to find a lack of health or nerve has forever robbed them of their ability to see the world.  We then decided to live life as free of regrets as possible. Instead of spending the next 30 years planning our world travels and running the risk of never fulfilling those plans, we decided to start traveling  now and leave the retirement plans for retirement!

There is a whole world out there and we intend to see it firsthand.  Admittedly, we have decided that it’s a bit unrealistic to try to see it all at once.  You realize what a big place the world is when you get out of your own comfort zone!  But whether we’re in the ravages of the wild or the comfort of our home, we hope you will keep in touch so you can stay as close (or closer) to our hearts and thoughts as you have been.
